Get Involved — Volunteer!

When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved!  Your help is needed!  Please read below for a summary of our available committees and volunteer opportunities. You may reach out to the PTO Volunteer Coordinator or Committee Coordinator with specific questions.

 

The PTO Board will be on hand to answer questions at the following events:

2022 - 2023 Dickinson PTO Committees

SPIRIT WEAR (COORDINATOR: Carly Bradshaw - spiritwear@dickinsonpto.com)

Coordinates the design, ordering, and delivery of all Spirit Wear.

 

WORKROOM (COORDINATOR: Stefanie Montoya - workroom@dickinsonpto.com)

Coordinates how many people are needed in the workroom and when. Provides a list of needs volunteers fulfill while in workroom. Volunteers will sign-up to work shifts and perform various tasks.

 

EVENTS (COORDINATORS: OPEN)

Coordinates the logistics for special events (i.e. Trunk or Treat). Helps obtain necessary funds for the events. Volunteers are needed to help with activities prior to, during, and after all events. 

 

BEAUTIFICATION/GARDENING (COORDINATOR: JoBeth Prochaska)

Oversees maintenance of the school garden. 

 

BOX TOPS (COORDINATOR: OPEN -  boxtops@dickinsonpto.com)

Manages the collection of box tops and submits for school. Arranges "box top" drives throughout the year to increase the collection. Committee members may work with the coordinator to help with drives and collection of box tops.

  

WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) (COORDINATOR: Warren Phillips - watchdog@dickinsonpto.com)

Manages the Watch D.O.G.S. program, including creating volunteer sign-ups, and facilitating the training of volunteers, and coordinating special events to encourage participation in the program.

 

LIBRARY

Volunteer to assist librarian with various tasks. Please contact the librarian to coordinate volunteer needs.

 

GENERAL VOLUNTEER WORK
