Volunteering
Get Involved — Volunteer!
When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved! Your help is needed! Please read below for a summary of our available committees and volunteer opportunities. You may reach out to the PTO Volunteer Coordinator or Committee Coordinator with specific questions.
The PTO Board will be on hand to answer questions at the following events:
Popsicles with the Principles
LCISD Back to School Block Party
Meet the Teacher Night

ROOM PARENT (COORDINATOR: Erinn Webber)
A room parent is a great way to help your student's teacher and be the liaison between the teacher and the parents. Some of your responsibilities will include: coordinating a monthly team snack with other room parents from your grade, class birthday treat for your teacher, organizing holiday party help. Minimal time involved with this one.
WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) (COORDINATOR: Jason Sulak)
Great for dads and grandparents to get involved. Does include giving up a weekday from 7am-3:15pm, but this year you will be able to really make a difference on campus with an active presence: carline, perimeter checks, lunchroom monitor, recess, classroom help, etc. An info meeting with take place in September so stay tuned
LIBRARY (COORDINATOR: Dickinson Librarian Ms. Bromonsky)
Volunteer to assist librarian with various tasks. Please contact the librarian to coordinate volunteer needs.
YEARBOOK (COORDINATORS: Anne Heyden & Candice O'Brien)
