Welcome!
Whether you are new to Dickinson or just to PTO — we are glad you are here! PTO is the best way we have found to get involved in the life and education of our kids.
Want to enjoy the rewards that come from working together for the good of children in community? Here are the steps we suggest :)
1—Register on this site
Not only is this website a place for information— it's is a pretty fantastic tool. We use it to make working together easier— and far less paperwork for everyone! Signing up is free and quick, and is bound to save you time down the road:
2—Join PTO
Dickinson's PTO exists to bring parents and teachers together. With our combined power, we work to make school a great place for all our kids. Wondering where the money we raise goes? Dickinson PTO funds every child on an annual field trip, we plan and organize school/community events and much, much more!! Last year our PTO spent over $60 per child.
3—Stay informed!
Dickinson PTO has a PTO Facebook page, which we use to share information that is of general interest. We also have a closed Facebook group where we discuss things as parents.
4—Use your powers for good!
Whether you have 30 minutes or larger chunks of time, your willingness to volunteer makes a big difference in the life of our school! Many Dickinson volunteers work full or part time, which makes everyone's service extra important! See where your talents might be best used here:
